PP Polypropylene Brief Introduction

PP (Polypropylene) is general thermoplastic resin with recycling mark No.5, the lightest commercial plastic. It is divided into homo-PP, block co-PP, random co-PP (PPR), and modified grades including flame retardant, high flow, glass filled, melt-blown etc.
Main Properties
Low density 0.89~0.91g/cm³, floating on water, lightweight to cut costs.
Great heat resistance, continuous working temperature 100–120℃, suitable for microwave and high-temperature sterilization.
Resistant to acid, alkali, oil and detergent; low water absorption.
Outstanding flex fatigue resistance, ideal for integral hinge caps.
Good electrical insulation, food-safe grade available, easy to recycle.
Disadvantages: brittle at low temperature; easy to age under sunlight without UV stabilizer; hard for painting and gluing.

Packing Specification Standard package: 25kg per bag with inner PE liner + woven polypropylene outer bag, stitched sealed. Engineering grade (PC,ABS,PA6,PA66): 25kg kraft paper composite bag with moisture-proof inner film. Pallet service optional: goods wrapped with stretch film on plastic/wood pallet for full container load, prevent tearing, dampness and dust.

Transportation Notice

1. 1.Goods stored in dry, cool & ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high temperature.

2. 2.Available for truck delivery & sea freight by FCL/LCL. Handle carefully during loading & unloading to avoid bag damage by sharp goods.

3. 3.Hydroscopic resins like PC, PA shall be loaded under dry weather with tight sealing.
